Xuban Ceccon

Machine learning engineer at Multiverse Computing in Madrid. Originally from the Basque Country.

Background

I studied electronics and computer science at ESTIA in Bidart, France, then completed a master's in computational techniques and computer vision at Cranfield University in the UK. Along the way, I interned at IKERLAN working on cybersecurity for embedded systems, which introduced me to the world of research.

Now

I work on large language models at Multiverse Computing, Spain's first AI unicorn. Before this, I spent a year at IKERLAN working on computer vision, where I ran into the limitations of existing YOLO libraries and decided to build LibreYOLO. Before that, two years at Fleeti working on fleet management in France.

Open source

I created LibreYOLO, a MIT-licensed computer vision library designed as a truly open alternative to proprietary solutions. Production-ready with support for YOLOX, YOLO9, RT-DETR, and RF-DETR.

Beyond work

I'm a Cursor Ambassador and organize tech meetups in the Basque Country. I speak Basque, Spanish, French, and English.
